Our Mission
REIN works in partnership with individuals and organisations for a fair and just society which values diversity and gives everyone an equal chance to work, learn and live free from discrimination, prejudice and racism.
Our aim and Objectives
We work towards the elimination of racial discrimination and to promote equality of opportunity, justice and good relations between persons of different racial groups. We achieve our aims through a variety of activities;-

To support BME organisations by providing them with information, advice and offer assistance as appropriate

To give advice, information and support to individuals experiencing racism and racial discrimination

To build the capacity of smaller BME organisation

To maintain a programme of public information and education

to provide a forum for consultation within the London Borough of Newham by means of the Newham Race Equality Alliance

To promote the Third Party Reporting System for victims of hate crimes

To raise awareness of racism and the benefits of diversity among agencies, individuals and employers and to acquaint them with the nature and context of racial discrimination and inequality experienced by BME individuals in the provision of mainstream services by statutory agencies.
What we offer
We offer our expertise in race and diversity issues to everyone in a variety of ways through training, seminars, workshops, lectures, public awareness, community development, policy development and race specific casework
Where to find us
We are open to the public Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm.
Our building is accessible to the disabled.
We operate an appointment system and endeavour to see clients within 5 working days of contacting our office.
We are able to assist anyone living or working in the London Borough of Newham.
To help us to improve our services we normally invite our clients to complete a client questionnaire.
We do not undertake work for clients who are already receiving assistance from other agencies.
Our service is entirely free and we do not charge a fee
